Summary: Its GREAT
Review: I bought this pedometer about 18 months ago. I've been using it regularly and have had no problems. Battery life is about 6 months or so and the batteries are easy to get. The nicest feature (to me) is that it doesn't make noise -- the mechanical pedometers click with each step, this is completely silent. It is pretty accurate -- if you wear your pants lower than the natural waist, it might miss a few steps -- also if you walk very smoothly, it will miss steps. Yes, it does work when I stick in in a pocket in my purse.

Summary: Best Pedometer Yet!
Review: I purchased this pedometer about a month ago. Prior to this purchase I have owned at least 4 other brand name pedometers that never performed as promised. When I received the Ormon, I calibrated it ( very easy to do) using the same information as my other pedometers and went out to measure my current walking route. I was amazed at how accurate and consistant the readings were. It was within 30 paces of the actual distance. My other pedometers measured up to several hundred paces +/- of the correct distance and never the same distance twice. I have recommended this to other friends and wear it from the time I get going in the morning to the time I go to bed. It's a great way to monitor your 10,000 steps a day and I am always trying to beat the previous days reading. The Omron HJ-112 is definately a keeper!

Summary: Great device Very Very Very poor belt clip
Review: It amazes me how a company could make such a wonderfully accurate and feature rich device and then give it a almost nonexistent belt clip. The clip is so flimsy it comes off at the slightest touch. This is on a device that is used to measure exercise levels and distances. When carried inside of a pocket the device was not nearly as accurate and needs to be carried in there with a certain orientation. If not for the belt clip I would have given this a 5 star rating.

Summary: Staying on Track
Review: I love everything about this pedometer. It was easy to program and get started. I like that it tracks your steps, aerobic steps, calories burned, miles walked, etc. It's ability to reset itself every night at midnight is also very handy. A great product for a very reasonable price here on Amazon. It is keeping me on track with my daily workouts and just to wear all day to track steps, etc. Love it!!!!
