Summary: Good replacement item
Review: Installation was not hard, several screws to remove the housing, then just swap out the battery. Took the old battery down to the local big box store recycling center. Could not ask for better, expect perhaps better price.

Summary: New Trimmer Power for MUCH Less
Review: The old Grasshog trimmer battery was old and sick and punked out in 10 minutes. The trimmer itself was working fine and I liked the size and reach - so I spent less than half the cost of a new trimmer for this battery. Now I'm back to an hour run time and plenty of power for heavy weeds.

The installation is a bit tricky, though. When the case is unscrewed watch for the controls falling out onto the floor. They're merely trapped in place by the case, not fastened...I jerked my trimmer a bit as I tried to separate the halves and I had to puzzle out how all the plastic levers and rods fit back into place.
